Greenpeace shows more than 12.7 million tonnes of plastic waste end up in the oceans each year. The high and rapidly increasing levels of marine plastic litter represent a serious environmental problem on a global scale, negatively affecting marine life and biodiversity. To decrease these negative effects, reduce the use of plastic and add up the percentage of recycled plastic material on the product, minimizing reliance on virgin plastics. By displacing virgin materials, recycled materials can leave fossil fuels unused and lower the value chain’s carbon footprint.

Making efforts for our environment, Chuan Hsing uses recycled materials in our products. One of the materials is made from marine garbage - the nylon fishing net. Old fishing nets regenerate into the armrests, not only help reduce marine litters, but also lower the carbon footprint.

Chuan Hsing’s suppliers offer various recycled plastics.
